Horrible! Don’t waste your time!!! And front office is a disaster!

I chose the expensive lens and the laser treatment, not covered by medicare. Results were awful - my vision not improved (yes, cataract removed) but vision worse than before and not as advertised to have nice distance vision. My eye sees only blurred vision!! Will now have to seek other options either w/Dr Elander or another doctor!!!

The best doctor and the only one who ever got my prescription correct.

The son of a prominent ophthalmologist, he was an instructor at Jules Stein Eye Institute prior to joining his father's practice upon his father's retirement. Highly respected. He and his father helped develop some of today's modern tools for treating the eyes.

Dr. Elander performed cataract surgery for me. The pre-op evaluation was straight-forward and he clearly explained what was going to happen before and after surgery. The surgery was painless, easy and quick. The recovery was remarkably easy and painless and he was very reassuring during multiple post-op visits. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Elander and staff are focused, attentive and efficient. Surgical results were excellent.Physical set-up in office is very comfortable and warm. Great for relieving stress.
