Very rude, horrible bedside manner. makes decisions without involving patients/their family in care. do NOT go to this doctor

Couldn’t find a more compassionate and caring man. My husband was in the hospital several times the last few months and Dr. Masden was always there for whatever we needed. Appreciate his personal touch. Would highly recommend for anyone. My family loves him.

I don't know why this guy is in a hospital except someone must have pulled strings. Immature, arrogant, unprofessional and when I asked questions he had a temper tantrum and slammed the door out of my room. NEVER use this guy. Insist for another one. I recommend Dr. Bowman at b. East.

Dr. Masden completely disregarded my concerns about my mother's health. I asked for his support to get her in a sleep study and in front of my 83 yo mother he dismissed the sleep study as unnecessary and said my mother couldn't handle a CPAP machine and mask. Fast forward 6 weeks and not only did my mother complete two sleep studies (she was diagnosed with SEVERE central sleep apnea), she's sleeping 8-9 good hours per night. Her quality of life has improved dramatically, as has her steadiness when walking and doing everyday living activities. I filed a formal complaint against Dr. Masden with the Baptist Hospital CMO. If I can prevent another family from having to suffer with his ageist and antiquated medical opinions, then I have done some good. If you or a loved one are in Baptist Hospital Louisville, you can request to have another hospitalist instead of Dr. Masden. Do it for your or your loved one's health.
