Dr Watkins is an exceptional surgeon, diagnosing my trigger fingers and dupytrens disease. He is amazing and an excellent surgeon. Highly recommend his office and medical practice.

Troy Watkins saved my husbands hand when he had an accident that caused the loss of 2 fingers of his dominant hand. My husband went to push a firework down to avoid it going by some young kids at our house, it exploded right as he touched it. Troy was honest in the ER & said he didn't know what he would find. He saved all but 2 fingers and my husband is back at work and able to throw a baseball to his son. Something we didn't know if he would ever do again. He is a remarkable surgeon. My family can't thank him enough.

This physician is the finest hand specialist/surgeon I have ever had. He first operated on a torn ulnar tendon sheath in 1999 and I have seen him for bilateral carpal tunnel and multiple trigger finger repairs since then. He is an expert at his craft, knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient centered, and empathetic. As a healthcare professional, I recommend him to any and all that ask about a hand specialist. I am not looking forward to when he is no longer in practice.

Several surgeries performed by Dr. Watkins- Dr. Watkins successfully repaired my wife's badly broken wrist. He successfully repaired severed thumb ligament on my wifeâ??s hand. He successfully performed Carpal Tunnel Release on both of my hands.

Dr. Watkins has done four trigger finger releases on my hands. I saw him a few days ago for an osteoarthritis issue in my thumb joint. He and his staff are awesome. He's been in business for many years - and knows what he's doing! I would highly recommend him.

after waiting over 45 minutes, 10-15min. early, plus over half hour past my appt, during which the recept. not realizing for some odd reason that writing might he painful for someone with wrist injury given their field of specialization, i get into the Dr.s office, he asks me if my sunglasses are prescription, I say uh, no but, he cuts me off then i need you to remove them, before i could finish telling him the lights give me headaches, i pause flustered and ask why exactly does that matter inregards to my wrist, he says flatly, so i can tell if you're lying, implying I was going to, but if I had wanted to lie I would have said yes they are prescription, but he didn't let me finish, called me a liar then as I was taking a very deep breath trying to not be outraged by his condescension and outright rudeness, he gives me an ultimatum, "are we going to do this or not?" with me removing them at his whim, he seemed to revel in his control, I had no recourse at the time but to concede,… endure humiliation, and the headache later, but the worst part was when he reported his findings to the Insurance people he cleared stated my "terrible attitude, and that I had a chip on my shoulder", the previous Dr.s remarked on my pleasant attitude, as have college professors, deans, two of my College presidents, peers, etc who have known me for decades, but this guy in one hour thinks he knows me so well, he trashes my dignity, humiliates me, calls me a liar and wonders why i wasn't "cheerful for him", after my lawyer got the report she dropped my case,no i would not recommend this guy if you are a workmans comp case.

Dr Watkins is one of the most caring doctor I have ever been to, his professionalism isbeyond words, his office staff is wonderful. I truly feel so comfortable with his diagnoses, he has never been wrong.

I was impressed with Dr. Watkins. He took time to explain my diagnosis and all my treatment options in depth. I felt he actually cared about me and the outcome. I didnt feel rushed during my visit with him. A very caring and compassionate doctor. I would highly recommend him and have to many of my friends and family.
