Dr. Richard Elliott Moore, MD

It took 3 knee surgeries for us to figure out that I was allergic to the metal that the joint was made out of and Dr. Moore would never listen to us. After the 3rd knee failure I went to another doctor who said "cut it off, fuse it, or live with it." Dr. Moore will not check for metal allergies, do not let him do another surgery on you, get a second opinion

I HAD A HIP REPLACEMENT IN 2015 I ONLY SEEN DR MORRE ONCE AFTER SUGURY IT FELT GREAT FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS SINCE THEN I HAVE GONE BACK TO THERE OFFICE BUT WAS TOLD IT WOULD REQUIRE ANOTHER SURGERY TO FIX THE FIRST ONE. I WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT DR'S ABOUT A YEAR AFTER AND HAVE BEEN IN PAIN EVER SINCE. THE NEW ORTHO DR SAID THAT THE HARDWARE THAT THE DR USED WAS NOT THE RIGHT SIZE AND AND SHAFT IS PLACED AT HE WRONG ANGLE. I NOW WILL BE GOING TO RECONSTRUCTIVE DR TO FIX DR MOORES MISTAKES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

Dr. Moore did a revision on my hip joint. It was a very difficult surgery and he had serveral options ready to go depending on what he found when he got in. He thoughtfully and amazingly crafted a new hip joint for me that has served me well for 20 years. A++

Horrible follow up I am livid with Dr Moore and his staff. 3 weeks post TKR and I have yet to speak with Dr Moore. The pain management has been horrible, they all seem to forget I am the patient here. I have treated as If I was at the DMV from the get go!!

Excellent surgeon! Be prepared for the wait! 2 hours this time. The staff is top notch, don't get me wrong, worst wait time ever but I'm back for the second time knowing!

I don't know how they got a 4 rating on promptness. I often waited two hours and several times 4 hours. When asking the staff how far behind he was they didn't know! What? Surgery went great until 4 months - Then I had to have it done again, then at 4 months I was told that I have to have it done again. No thanks I'll just live with the constant pain

overall great bedside manner he takes time to listen and answers all questions. doctor Moore is very professional smart and explains things in a way the patient needs to understand. his team is a wonderful team underneath them too everyone works hard to work for the patient and together. my experience with doctor Moore and his team was excellent overall in every area. they are also very protective of their patients while they in the hospital. every person on the team wanted a positive outcome with surgery and recovery.

I would not trust anyone except Dr. Moore and his partners Dr. Linder and Dr Williams. They know how to diagnois and solve very difficult problems.

It can be difficult to get an appointment and the wait at his office can be lengthy. But it is absolutely worth the wait and effort if you are looking for a the orthopaedic surgeon whose surgical skills and personal dedication to your health put him at the top of the foodchain in his field. We have undergone four total hip replacements in nine years with this person and know of what we speak. The wait for both appointments and at his office comes simply because this man is in gold standard grade demand by patients. As a side note, his personal and professional reputation with the medical community, especially nurses, PAs, NPs and other doctors is above reproach.
