I had a super path hip replacement three years ago, 5 months later a total knee replacement on the same leg. Both are amazing. Have referred everyone I know to Dr Schwartsman.

He saved my arm many years ago. One of the best humans you will ever meet.

doctor said i needed surgery, girl in office was suppose to connect with me on times. i was okay with date of surgery. but she set other appointments without disscusing them with me. she sent me an email with all the info. i tried to call them back but they had left office at noon. my pain had been worsening. i had waited for 2 different calls to make other appt. for mri. after 2 wks i called. and the following intermountain arms called. did, had visit with the doctor, decided to do surgery. waited 3 wks for other girl to call, i had to call them, pain is worsening. inflamed by sciatica nerve pain. she left emails telling when i was suppose to go for blood work and post op visit and surgery. i dont drive, my husband has to take off of work to take me. he would lose money if too early in the day. i had told her previously about this. i also told her i dont sleep normal hours. she calls at 9:20 in the morning. i get up at noon. and the phone is not by the bed. unless i will be expecting… a call. they were gone from that friday til the following wens. i tried calling, i was in a lot of pain. they had no other direction on their message machine just the same thing, didnt even say they were not coming back til wens. i sent 2 emails, tying to get a response, nothing, so i told her to cancel those appointments. then i realized, my friend who also live up here, we are 17 miles from boise. she recently retired she could take me. in mary lindsay's email she told me to call wens. morning to confirm all the appointments. i called her at 9 am. and told i had found transportation, to leave the one appt for that day as set. half way through my paperwork with st. al's, they had decided to do post op papers as well as the blood work. then there was a call from mary. she cancelled everything, even the surgery. i spoke to her on the phone about the 9 am call cancelling what i said in my emails. she said it didnt matter, all had been cancelled and i had to get a new knee doctor. i was furious, and the nurses and girls at st. al's were stunned. why didnt she say they were cancelled and make new appts. with me at that time. she led me to believe all was good. so here i sit trying to find a new doc. in pain. st al's did give me some meds for seven days. i should have read the revues on the doctor before going to him.

Dr. Schwartzman fixed my colapsed hip. He did a great job. It's been less than a month and I'm walking very well. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. I was also impressed with his Doctors assistant. He was great at answering my questions.

Dr. Schwartsman performed a hip replacement on me in Feb., 2016, using the Super PATH method.. I have to say there was essentially zero pain from the moment I woke up, I was walking unaided three days later, and my recovery has been quick. Dr. Schwartsman, and his PA, Dan Whitted, have been very patient in explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. I would recommend him and this procedure to anyone considering a hip replacement.

IN MY OPNION HE A BUTCHE, and an uncaring doctor. He cut my tenden during a routine knee scoping. He also left me paralized from the waste down on left side. They rushed me out of clinic due to closing even with the paralysis issue. When I spoke to Schwwartsman the next day. He blamed the paralysis on the Anesthesiologist. Off offered no support or compassion. .He also over perscribed medication that caused internal bleeding. Years later I have nerve damage and pain with continued bleeding issues and other problems resulting from his surgury and treatment. Had to use him since it was a workers comp claim. after having all the issues they assign me a worker's comp claims advocate. She told me they had over a dozen complaints regarding this doctor. I only gave him 1 star as they dont have an option for no stars.

I found Dr Schwartsman to have a great bedside manner and knowledgeable about my knee injury. I no longer limp and have very minimal knee pain. This after I was informed by another orthopedic surgeon that my knee was too big as to why the original surgery could not be completed. That I was going have permanent limitations for the rest of my life. The office wait time can be to an hour+. To me that's no big deal when you have the best Orthopedic Surgeon working with you. He takes his time to know you and what your injury is. Explains in detail with words and picture what exactly is wrong. And how he'll repair it. I would recommend Dr Schwartsman to anyone who is in need of orthopedic surgery.

Great surgeon. Very thorough and a lot of attention to detail. Really takes time to explain everything before and after the surgery. Had rotator cuff surgery and his approach left very little scarring. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. Nice guy on top of it all.
