Dr. Tulika Katyal

She had been my Dr since 2008 and such a blessing she's been. Every health issue I've had, she never stops, until it's resolved. And the blessing of her becoming a part of mercy. Saved my life. In 2017 she knew as soon as she looked at it, we had to move fast i was diagnosed in a week later from test she ordered, with inflammatory breast cancer. And she sent me to what i will forever consider the best cancer treatment center, DrHuq at Clarkson Clayton location. I'm three miracle from their hard work, with the most caring wonderful team of special oppose warriors that help me to be 2 years cancer free against the odds. I have followed her, to every location this decade. She truly cares. She always knows not only who i am (not just another face. She remembers my history and conditions without having to reference the computer. There's nothing like having a Dr you trust and believe in. She will always be my Dr. I've even traveled for hours to keep her as my Dr. I have problems developing… trust in a doctor, I've not meet one yet that i trust more than her. And she always makes sure i understand, what's going on. I just love her as my family. She certainly cares with a true heart. In my opinion, she's the very best ?mercy is lucky to have her???

Dr. Katyal herself is nice, in person, I wonder though how she is behind my back and how she treats her staff, because the obviously don't care. She and her staff have to be the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with, in following through on, well anything. She seems to have no recollection of what issues you have had and what she has told you in the past. It's like her notes are a mess and missing information. Every month getting your prescriptions is a nightmare. I have had 2 different pharmacies give unsolicited opinions that their office is the worst they have ever dealt with. They constantly deny refills saying you need to come in when you were just in and not due back for months. They argue with you that you were not there when you can prove it because it is on their patient website that your were and you even have you labs that were drawn there. Speaking of labs, often required labs are missing like they forgot to check a box for a lab test you needed. They send… incorrect prescriptions, wrong quantity and or wrong drug all together. It takes many days on average to get this sorted out, then something is still wrong and you just give up in frustration! The worst of everything is they treat you like it's your fault! When all the mistakes happen on their end. My favorite is when they tell you the Dr. will make an exception this one time and fill your drug again. Oh gee thanks because, I wasn't due back for 3 months it was the Dr's fault to begin with. Sorry to rant but this place is infuriating.

The doctor herself is knowledgeable but is inaccessible outside of a scheduled appointment. If your hospitalized she won't be coming to see you, she doesn't do that. Next time you see her she won't really remember your specifics. They don't seem to have much of a clue about what they have prescribed for you. You have to be an expert on your own medication or you might be in serious trouble! Constantly the pharmacy can't get replies from their office. Lab work paperwork not filled out correctly. The staff even though I hear the doctor herself tell them visit after visit to get things done just don't. They may be friendly in general but are also a chaotic disorganized mess. I can't recommend these people.

Screws up my prescriptions (where to send them) every time. Have to make several phone calls every 90 days to get it all straightened back out. Also does not call back when promised (if she even responds at all).

This lady has been My Doctor and my son George's Doctor for many years. You CAN NOT find a more caring doctor besides her and her partner Dr. Casino if you tried. My Grandson Antonio has been under peds there since he was 3. Soon he will be switched to Dr. Katyal, because he will be 21.

This applies to the office in House Springs. ...Appointments are difficult to get, yet office is empty. Had to wait over 35 minutes on two visits. Treatment and diagnosis seemed thorough, but prescriptions did not work. When I tried to get followup, I received no call back. Eventually went to another doctor for treatment.
