Dr. Tunga Suresh, MD

Dr. Suresh received Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Surgery (MS) degrees from University of Madras, Madras Medical College in India. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, Scotland and holds a Diploma in Urology from University College of London in London, England. Dr. Suresh served as a consultant in Urology at St. Mary's Hospital in Newport, Isle of Wight. Dr. Suresh completed his internship and anesthesiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship at Children's Hospital Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining Pediatric Anesthesia Consultants of San Antonio, Dr. Suresh served as a staff anesthesiologist and visiting assistant professor at University of Pittsburgh's Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Suresh belongs to a number of professional associations including American Society of …Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, Society of Pediatric Anesthesiologists and Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society.
