Dr. Ty Bolten Erickson, MD

This md botched a "routine" mesh removal procedure. Three quarters of a million dollars later she is doing ok. He left the state leaving her in extreme pain. Another MD, discovered the error and performed an emergency life saving procedure. Seems that patients do not matter to to this "doctor". It's a shame.

He is the very best obgyn I have ever seen.

Excellent surgeon-very attentive during follow-up care. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr Erickson may be a very busy doctor, and I do have to wait at every appointment, he is the only doctor in town that was able to help me with my mesh problems with an easy surgery. I was surprised how much better I felt! I would recommend him to anyone.

While I cannot disagree with most of the other comments, there is an item not discussed. Dr Erickson may be great with the easy and even moderate things to diagnosis, the difficult items he quickly looses interest and is not motivated to follow up. While he is willing to perform full hysterectomies, when the after effects associated with hormones occur, the support isn't there. It appears that many can undergo this surgery and have little complications. If this is your case Dr Erickson performs very well. However if complications do occur, he quickly looses interest and isn't motivated to follow up. The problem is before surgery it is impossible to understand if this problem will occur. While Dr Erickson is a competent surgeon and will ensure proper healing occurs, there have been other problems with associated surgery, that once again afterwords his interest disappears. This is NOT a problem with infection or the healing process, where I am confident that he will do due… diligence to ensure that everything is taken care of. What I am talking about is after the healing and underlying problems exist, such as discomfort associated with mess in some situations.

Dr. Erickson is easy to talk to and obviously cares about his patients. His office staff are a reflection of that.

Dr.Erickson is a great doctor . He is very knowledgeable and keeps learning new and advanced ways to do surgerys and other up to date advanced procedures. He is very devoted to his work and is opening up another office in Utah
