Dr. Tyrone Leonard Tvedten, DO

This review is not so much about Dr. Tvedten (never got a chance to meet the good doctor) as it is about Suncoast Family Medical. I am new to the Largo area and have certain medical problems that need to be at the very least, monitored. After looking over the good doctor's credentials, he seemed to be the perfect fit for my conditions. I happily called the office, only to be told that they only took one kind of insurance. Mind you, I have had the same insurance for four years and have never had a problem with it being accepted. I was dismayed, but okay, I said to myself I will call and get the insurance that they want. I called and told the lady my problem and she ask me what insurance I had. After telling her, she said to me that she only had a higher priced plan and told me that there was nothing wrong with my plan and to call back and explain to Suncoast my plan, thinking maybe they did not understand exactly what I had. I did so, but to no avail. Seems Suncoast and the… doctors there only care about pushing this brand of insurance and do not really care about the welfare of people.

Hands down...best doctor! He is smart, personably, attentive and very caring!

Really cares about person. Informs, doesn't lecture. Very nice person.
