Dr. Tyler Bond Hamilton, DO

I recently attended an appt with Dr. Hamilton and was pleased with the entire experience. Scheduling an appt was simple and even as a new patient I was able to get in very quickly(less than 2 wks from the date I called). The entire staff including the nurse practitioner, Merlandie Houston, and Dr. Hamilton were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful during my visit. The waiting area, unisex restroom, and exam room all appeared very clean and neat. There weren't any other patients waiting when I arrived, and I waited less than 10 min before being called back by a nurse; However, I did have the new patient paperwork filled out prior to my appt. The nurse practitioner came into the room first and basically went over the reason for my appt, my medical history, current meds, etc. which took about 10-20 min. I then heard her & Dr. Hamilton in the next room as she explained to him what all we had just gone over; that took approx. 10 min. Afterwards, they both came back into the room… together, and Dr. Hamilton introduced himself. He proceeded to go over what I had previously reviewed with Ms. Houston, just a little more in-depth. I did feel as though the process was a little repetitive and that time could've been saved had they both just come in together to begin with, which is why I only gave a 4 star review. The entire appt. including check-out, paperwork and scheduling my next appt. took just over an hr. which I consider pretty quick for a new patient, esp one with such an extensive medical history as mine. The office also called Santa Rosa Hospital, which in turn called me the very next day to schedule several tests Dr. Hamilton discussed with me during my appt, as well as called in medication to my pharmacy within hours of the conclusion of my appt. Overall, I had a nice experience and feel as though my healthcare needs will be more than sufficiently met by the staff at this office. I would def recommend both Dr. Hamilton and nurse practitioner Merlandie Houston if anyone is looking for a good primary care physician in the Milton area.

Dr Hamilton was a great doctor his staff was friendly and helpful he has referred me to all the specialist I need I didn't have any problems with him they was great

Dr Hamilton bounced in the room 1 hour and 45 minutes after the appointed time. Then says he will order tests blood work etc. and more than a week later some follow thru occurred. Hospitalized due to lack of follow thru and lack of orders occurred while hospitalized. Again lack of follow thru. That’s the title and the end. Bye!

Dr. Hamilton and his staff are amazing. He is proactive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton.
