When there is a patient referred to you that is post menopausal and bleeding, don't make her wait months for an appointment just because she hasn't seen the physician in a year. This patient pleaded with Dr Wusu’s office for a sooner appointment but no one would listen. When Dr Wusu finally saw me, she couldn’t explain the bleeding. When an D&C, biopsy and ultra sound didn’t provide immediate results, I had to press her for a plan. She did not have a plan at the ready. Perhaps an MRI should have been done first to rule out cancer, but instead Dr Wusu prescribed hormone therapy, wasting valuable time. When hormone therapy did not stop the bleeding, Dr Wusu wanted to perform another D&C and biopsy, but when I refused, she sent me off for another ultra sound and MRI and referred me to another physician. Thank God for that referral. The other physician made it her mission to find out what was causing the bleeding. She listened to my symptoms and had a plan ready much faster than Dr Wusu… did. The bleeding was the result of fallopian tube cancer. The delayed care allowed the cancer to spread to the omentum, allowing the cancer to progress to Stage 3. As a result of my experience, I would not recommend Dr Wusu.

I had a terrifying app't with this woman, I will never go back. I PLEADED with her to stop the procedure she was doing , yet she continued. Very traumatic .

Dr. Wosu listened carefully, took the time to be thorough and caught mistakes I was given from another OB/GYN office in Cambridge. I am impressed and would be happy to have her going forward. Her office was easy to reach, gave prompt callbacks when I had questions and was very tactful when I lost a baby. Other offices kept me in the waiting room with expectant mothers when I lost pregnancies, but Wosu's office kept me in a separate waiting are to make it less difficult. The only thing I would have liked to see different is more patient advocacy when they referred me on to treatment that might have been good to have the next day and I was set in line for several months. They should have found me a different place to go or advocated I get seen sooner, and I heard their shock over the phone that I would be waiting, but nothing was done to fix that. Otherwise, thumbs up, so far.
