I recently had cataract surgery performed by my Ophthalmologist Dr.Uday DEVGAN, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care I received. From the very first consultation through the surgery and the follow up care ( 24 after the surgery), the experience was outstanding. Dr.Uday DEVGAN demonstrated remarkable knowledge ,skill,and professionalism.He took the time to explain every step of the process in a clear and reassuring way, which helped me feel calm and confident before the surgery. The surgery itself went perfectly, and only after 24 hours later I can already appreciate the excellent result. his expertise and precision are truly impressive. Beyond his unique technical skill, what makes him truly exceptional is his human approach to patient care. He is very kind, sincere, and genuinely cares about his patients. He listens carefully, answers questions patiently, and makes sure the patient feels comfortable and well informed. Before the… procedure, he carefully prepared me and addressed all my concerns. After the surgery, he continued to follow up with great attention and reassurance. this level of dedication and compassion is something that patients deeply value. I found this Doctor disrespectful, to say the least . In addition, my eye felt unwell for at least two weeks after the cataract surgery.

I just got my 2nd eye done yesterday (the 1st was a week ago). I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Devgan. I now see 20/20 out of both eyes!!!! I just came back from a drive after dark and the halo of headlights was minimal and I could see where I was going!!! You do not have to live in the LA area to go to him. We live 2 1/2 hours away and it was worth every bit of the travel, hotels were very reasonable. I was nervous about having surgery on my EYEBALLS!!! I got a referral from a top international Ophthalmologist who is in research & development, he gave me Dr. Devgan's name (who is also a top international Ophthalmologist). Not only is Dr. Devgan top in his field, he is kind & friendly, and listened to my concerns. His office staff is top notch and so is the surgery center. I would recommend him to anyone. I am fortunate to have Dr. Devgan. He is the greatest in his field. He is up to date in his surgery as he has won many accolades, UCLA Professor, and an expert advisor for medical companies. His smiling, and friendly demeanor gave me confidence and cataract surgery for both my eyes were completed so quickly that I never felt anything happened. With his blessings, now I have 20/20 vision. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Devgan for cataract surgery! I was really scared to have the cataract surgery on my right eye as my left eye was damaged by a retina occlusion and if something would go wrong I was afraid to go blind. Then I had an appointment with Dr. Devgan who is very friendly and reassured me that there was nothing to worry about as he has performed thousands of cataract surgeries. He was right. It went very quick and well. My vision is very much improved and I would not need to wear glasses except that I have to protect my good eye. The office staff is as friendly as Dr. Devgan and the same goes for the surgery center staff. You are in good hands with Dr. Devgan. I thank him very much.

Dr. Devgan is the physician to go to for cataract surgery. His practice is focused on cataract surgery and he teaches the subject at UCLA medical school. He is definitely an expert in his field and certainly very up to date in teaching at UCLA. I was very happy with the whole surgical process. One of the best things about Dr. Devgan is that you can email him with any questions, or call him on his cell phone. He is very responsive to calls and emails and it is a big plus to have a doctor who communicates so well. Also, his office is highly organized with friendly staff working there. He gives detailed instructions about how to prepare for the surgery and for post-op care.

At 45 years of age, night driving became very difficult for me, I assumed I needed a new prescription for my glasses. To my dismay it was cataracts. The thought of having cataract surgery at my age was scary. After consulting with Dr. Devgan he assured me that while slightly uncommon for a person of my age, this surgery was not rare and on top of removing the cataracts, he would correct my severe nearsightedness as well as my astigmatism. As someone who has worn glasses all my life this sounded just right! His demeanor was calm and reassuring. After my consultation with him, I couldn't wait for surgery! As the day of surgery arrived, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. That being said, everyone from the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and of course Dr. Devgan were true professionals and made me more than comfortable. More importantly, Dr. Devgan did not over promise! He is a true artist. The next day, I was out of glasses, and ready for driving. Now I can watch… Netflix without glasses, I can rest on my side while watching and not be worried about squishing my glasses or having them jab me in the face. The best part is being able to drive safely at night again. I'm back to taxiing my kids around to dance lessons, soccer practice, etc...
