Dr. Ujwal Kumar Reddy Neravetla, MD

Dr. Reddy was my mother's doctor when she was admitted ro Forrest General. He was very kind and made sure I understood what was hapoending each step of the way. He ran multiple tests to find out exactly what was going on. He was determined to get to the root cause of her illness and do what was needed to get her feeling better. He actually cares about the patient. Dr. Reddy also has a good sense of humor. I looked forward to his visits each morning. If there was anything that my Mom or I needed, he made sure we got it.

He was my attending doctor during hospital stay. He was very caring and understanding. Very good doctor indeed.

Was not familiar w my chart when entered my room nor aware of why I was admitted to hosp. Kept telling me I was admitted for migraine. I kept telling him I had just had a heart attack... Was still having chest pains, thus the reason for readmit. He became agitated, arrogant when I tried to explain my condition. Was apparently upset at himself for not knowing my admit history, but took frustration out on me as a patient raising his voice l, arguing w me about why I was admitted, my symptoms and how I was currently feeling. He went to the nurses station then began jumping on nurses then for the same reasons. I was to be released on daily dose of Imdur. He wrote rx as one tablet only. Had to get corrected by family physician. My opinion is hospitalist should be patient care experts! This has not been our experience with the hospitalist at FGH and we've yet to determine why :(

Dr. Reddy is a very caring doctor. He can be difficult to understand because of his heavy accent. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is concerned about getting his patients discharged home as soon as possible. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Reddy's services. He will take good care of you!

Dr. Reddy is a very caring and skillful doctor. He took his time and really listened to me. He probably saved my life.

I would recommend him to anyone who appreciates dignified, respectful and empathetic care. He was very patient with me and with my family and made sure our every question was answered. He definitely went above and beyond any possible expectation. I can not say enough about how wonderful I believe this man is.
