Dr. Uma Ananth, MD

Dr. Ananth was the very first gynecologist I ever went to. She did very little to make me feel comfortable and seemed in a rush to get out from the moment she stepped in the exam room. I had so many questions that went unanswered, either because she answered them poorly or rushed off before I had the chance to ask them. Go to someone who at least acknowledges the stress of the situation, especially for younger women just entering the world of women's health.

Dr. Ananth is simply delightful! Menopause is such a complex and sensitive subject--she and her staff were so caring and compassionate, they took away all the uncertainties and made me feel extremely comfortable. I was educated and informed during my appointments and I left feeling positive and encouraged; I have an entirely new outlook thanks to this amazing group of medical professionals! I only wish I had met Dr. Ananth a decade earlier!

I really enjoy the professional atmosphere of the office. I would really like to received a post visit phone call, email or something confirming the outcome of the pap test. Not hearing anything is a bit disconcerting.

I am so glad I found Dr. Ananth's and CNP Susan Saunders' office. I feel very comfortable there and all of her employees seem friendly and down to earth. Although I do not have any complications with my health, I feel if I do in the future I will feel very comfortable telling them anything I am experiencing and asking any question I need answering.

I was referred to this practice by my primary care physician for menopausal symptoms and hormonal management. Dr. Ananth was excellent. She communicated things clearly and effectively. In addition, her specialization in the field provided me with explanations that made sense. I was pleasantly surprised and felt immediately at ease. The office environment and staff were efficient and customer-service focused. I will definitely be referring others to Dr. Ananth and the practice.

I have met with Dr. Ananth a few times now and every time she is spot on in my care. She is very knowledgeable and projects a very high level of concern for her patients. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician.

Dr. Ananth has always made me feel like she really cares about me. She takes the time after and during my exams to talk and see how my life is going. I hope she will always be there for me. Thank You

As usual, my annual visit was a pleasure. Dr. Ananth is always well prepared and listens carefully to my concerns. I appreciate the fact that she talks with me before she makes recommendations that clearly take into account my feelings and preferences.

The experience I had trying to schedule an appointment with Dr. Ananth was horrific. I scheduled an appointment with her, and her staff called to change it twice, both times claiming Dr. Ananth wanted to leave early that day. The 2nd time I was asked to change my appointment was hours before the appointment. No consideration was given to me having a job that had to be worked around. I agreed to all of the changes, even though they were very inconvenient and caused me to miss an important meeting at work only to arrive and find out that Dr. Ananth wasn't even there. She was at a different office location, which no one mentioned to me. I had never been to another location, which was far out of my way, and no one told me to go to a different place. After preparing for my visit, changing my appointment multiple times, arriving for an appointment that never happened and missing work to do so, the staff never even apologized. There are a ton of people working at the front desk, and none of… them seem to know what is going on or who is doing what. There is no way I would go through all of this again to try to get an appointment. The staff is incredibly rude, and they don't get that they are the first impression. A very upsetting experience especially since I wasn't able to get any help for my health issue.
