Dr. Uma Khanna, MD

I was referred to this provider by my insurance company. When I called to book a new patient appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude and condescending. I took my business elsewhere and encourage you to do the same. Staff is unprofessional, combative, and obviously uncaring towards patrons.

First and second visits were fine. Then I was terribly sick. I called for an appointment - no availability. I asked for antibiotics - no can do. They told me to go to urgent care. Wow, guess they think we are all made of money. I did go to urgent care. And I did change my primary care doctor on my insurance.

Unfortunately, my experiences with Dr. Khanna haven't been as pleasant as I'd hoped. I recall my first visit with her, last year, being a little awkward. I just wrote it off as a new doctor/patient relationship and anticipated the next one would be better. I eventually made her my PCP through my insurance and unfortunately, our relationship never progressed. I find that Dr. Khanna lacks sympathy. I believe her lack of sympathy directly effects her lack of sense to urgency when it comes to her patients health concerns. She's considered a family practice physician and I have not been able to locate any specialty. So I found it baffling when requesting referrals or scripts to visit a specialist regarding specific medical issues, that she would deny it or not provide alternatives that were beneficial while awaiting the specialist visit. I am so disappointed in her performance. I wish I could leave no stars at all. I will never recommend anyone I care about or love to visit her. And I won't… be going back. Too often I went, had a pointless visit, and walked out wasting money.
