Dr. Uma Prabha Pulipaka, MD

Dr. Pulipaka cares about her patients. She gives thorough exams, listens to her patients, asks lots of questions, will talk to you on the phone, and schedules appointments at your convenience. I have been a patient over 5 years.

Her front office staff has the most horrible customer service skills! They have never, not one time, been pleasant or helpful in any manner. I had to contact that office seven times to get my mothers MRI orders correct after the doctor said she thought she had a stroke. It took four calls to get them to straighten out the MRI appointment and three more calls and me showing up to get a copy of the scan for my mothers new doctors. NO exaggeration! The only reason they get a two instead of a one is Dr. Pulipaka is a nice lady. However, I do feel she could be more proactive in the care. Dr. Pulipaka is almost too soft spoken to the point that my elderly mother could hardly make out her words which is frustrating to elderly dementia patients. We are very happy to be leaving.

I was referred by Dr. Nyugen from the hospital after I had a stroke in June. I went to her office and saw her physicians assistant after getting out of the hospital. She was very unprofessional in demeanor. She ordered an MRI of my brain to see the extent of damage. I had the MRI at the hospital. She never followed up and never even called me. It has been three months and I haven't heard from her.

I Mary Brown just came back from my appointment with Dr. Uma Puplipaka and she is a sweet heart the same as always I'm so glad that she is my neurologist she has help me and comfort me a lot.I recommend that everyone should want to go to her.

Dr Pulipaka has an excellent bedside manner and she exhibited such professionalism that we won't go to another neurologist ever. My mother had just endured carotid artery surgery(she had 90% blockage in her artery in her neck) and Dr Pulipaka also discovered 2 aneurisms which requires a skilled neurologist to oversee. After just one consultation with Dr Pulipaka, we were all RELEIVED not only with the utmost professionalism Dr Pulipaka exhibited, but also her bedside manner made us all feel at ease. We all love her sense of humor (which is essential ESPECIALLY in her medical field) and she made us all feel as if we had known her for years and there was nothing we could not ask her. After all, when aneurisms are located a TRUSTWORTHY, EXPERIENCED neurologist is required. Dr Pulipaka is the one you want.
