This was my first time seeing a dr at Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders.Checking in was easy, the receptionist is very friendly.My appointment was at 930am and didn’t get called back until 945am,that is an extra 15 minutes which there was no reason for…When I checked in there was only one other patient who was waiting for her appointment and she was called back before I was.My policy is to always arrive at the appointment thirty minutes before scheduled because sometimes drs will take you in earlier if you arrive earlier.Otherwise it is expected to be seen at the scheduled time.Once I did my blood pressure and weight I was brought back to the exam room where I waited almost 20 minutes and it was almost 10am by then.Dr didn’t come in until around 10am.No one came to see if I am doing ok or letting me know how much longer the dr will be. I don’t mind long waits if there is a reason for it and if the drs care is exceptional which would mean they are in high demand for… appointments I can see why there’s a long wait time. But after reading reviews of other locations for Texas Institute of Neurology and how long their wait time is I won’t be back for another appointment muchless an EEG or follow up.I got what I needed, a new prescription to hold me for a few more months and that was the main purpose.Don’t recommend Texas Institue of Neurology.If you are one of those people who don’t mind long wait times this is the place to go.

I am very happy to find such a great Neurologist as Dr. Uma Saligram, MD, she listens which is import to me.
