Dr. Umesh Hansraj Gheewala, MD

I had such a poor experience at the Urgent Care due to Dr. Gheewala. He claimed they were unable to do incisions and draining at this urgent care. Ok... If he doesn't know how or is uncomfortable, that's fine. But to say no one there does it? He must have mis-read my lab reports, because he claimed I had a history of MRSA (I've never had it), and then proceeded to prescribe two different antibiotics. The absolutely worst part of his practice, is he did not listen at all to anything I said.

Did nothing for my son at urgent care. When my son said I don't think it is a broken bone and didn't want an xray...he rudely said "Are you a doctor?? I don't think you have a medical degree"....order the xray. Had to go back to urgent care a couple of days later...he released him with NOTHING....no diagnosis....no medicine.......oh yeah...gave him just a 3 day off of work note. Had to go back 2 days later..refused to see him...saw nurse practitioner....who diagnosed it and prescribed antibiotics. This doctor should NOT BE at urgent care. Happy if he helped others...but definitely did nothing for my son but rack up charges.

I went to urgent care for one thing, and Dr. Gheewala suspected I was Diabetic, and was correct. My glocuse was over 500. He instructed me to go to ER immediately, and that he would call them and let them know I was coming, which greatly expedited my entry. Others had missed this, as my fasting blood glucose numbers had never been high. I'm greatful he took the time to properly diagnose me. Had I not seen him, no telling where I'd be now. My glocuse levels are now under control, and I thank the good Doctor.

He is really knowledgeable and very caring. He drew a picture of my lungs to inform me about my asthma and how the medications work on my breathing passages. He told me how I can help myself when the asthma acts up and even talked to my daughter so the family is aware of how they can help

Practical approach, experienced, common sense doctor, that provides time to see people. Saved my life many years ago...
