At UHM our therapists implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards real life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a process and not a program: therapy aims at healing the client mentally, behaviorally and emotionally. However, this requires participation and investment from the client and guardian alike. Good mental health is the ultimate goal for all clients we serve.We strive to help in efforts by providing youth and adults with the best in mental/behavioral health services. We work with school schedules by providing services after school hours as we do not wish to interrupt any students' school day. We also provide quick turn around times for assessments so therapy services can begin sooner than later. We offer COVID friendly services with telehealth options available.
