Saw this doctor several years ago, and it sounds like she has not changed. I was still working then and not retired. I needed to drive from my office west of Pgh to Penn Hills at the time. When I arrived at the office, I was told she moved her office to Monroeville, and I should have received a notice. I did not, and the receptionist at the old office said I was 4th or 5th patient that day who claimed they did not know of the move. When she call the new office, they were closed for the day. On another appointment, after having blood work done, I called to make sure they had all the pages of the blood work before my appointment. Arrived for my appointment a couple days later, and she immediately noticed page 2 was missing from a 2 page report. Total incompetence in her office staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had to call for results...had to prompt for responses. No clear explanation of results. Sunshine treatment...

Pattention went in to discuss results of test done previously to see if hormone levels were normal. DR rushed through, went to microwave. Pt asked at desk what we're results of test. Dr wa 20 ft away around corner never came out, except to loudly tell Hippo info in waiting that "Didn't Pt know she was going through change". Pt was shocked. Pt was guven, via front desk receptionist paperwork with various hormone levels. Pt asked what numbers meant, while Dr continued to prepare food around corner. Receptionist went around corner to ask Dr. Receptionist came back with info.Last visit, lt we t in for results of ultrasound for growths around thyroid Dr was concerred about due to various measurements. Dr was late, and forgot about results.When asked about results, she rambled through paperwork, quickly felt Pt neck and it seemed they shrunk.

Never commented on patients VERY high blood pressure that was taken in the office. Another physician the following day IMMEDIATELY put patient on blood pressure medicine. Did not care to hear that patient's emotions were all over the place following surgery and physician directed lack of thyroid replacement hormones awaiting Radioactive Iodine treatments.

i use to see dr sharma for my thyroid problem. she use to accuse me of not taking my medicine. i had transfered to a diff doctor. i was diagnosed with being t3 and t4 resistant. if i would have stayed with seing her...who knows maybe i would be in a bad place. my numbers were in the 200's normal is les than 5
