Uzma Shafqat, MD

I just had mt first experience with Dr. Shafqat and I am so glad I found her. She had clearly done her homework on why I was there prior to my appointment, she had looked at my scans, she showed them to me and explained exactly what she saw and what it means, she listened to me and did a thorough exam. I left feeling confident in my care and with a plan for next steps. I really couldn't have had a better experience. The office staff and medical assistant were also extremely pleasant. I'm thrilled with this practice.

I've been seeing her since late 2017. She does not listen at all to what I say. She was overdosing me on my medicine, which I informed her, and she refused to agree that my symptoms were from too high a dosage. I've been having symptoms of another illness (that I tested positive for) but she refuses to treat or even acknowledge. Last time I was there, she smugly suggested that my symptoms were something I did intentionally. Most recently, she's been ignoring my messages on the MyChart feature. Not only does she not listen, now she's ignoring me completely. Looking for a new endo.

I had an appointment with this dr a few months ago and she made some strange remarks towards me. How my eyes looked very dark circles and talking politics as if it were any of her business asking who I voted for and of course I wasn't going to tell her. She'd smugly state how Trump is our president so she telling me to deal with it.?? I did not say who I voted for. This woman is a flake as far as I'm concerned. Her business is her own and she was like meddling in mine saying I should get a job. I was like it is none of your F**ing business.!! Well came my last appointment with her one day and I was left in an exam room for an HOUR! expecting to see her in 5 minutes but no. Instead was an hour and she finally comes in and says she did not remember our appointment??? well, I'm glad she had left the premises. and I have a new and better now.

Terrible office staff. Constantly placed on hold then disconnected. Upon call back they act rude. Impossible to get a return call from the doctor. Doc ...

Very difficult and sometimes rude office staff. Very condescending. Poor follow from doctor.
