Dr. Valarie Lee Allman, MD

My doctor of many years retired and I was concerned that I would have a difficult time finding another who was as concerned and patient with questions. Dr. Allman goes over my prescriptions each visit and they are many. She is obviously engaged and pays attention to nuances of the conversation. She has an excellent support staff and nursing staff. I feel fortunate to have been accepted as one of her patients.

I can tell you that she is a doctor. with integrity, grace, and extremely high standards of practice. I do not hesitate to refer patients to her - close friends as well as inquiring strangers. Dr. Allman is a well read, current and intelligent physician. Dr. Allman's knowledge in her field of practice is excellent. She strives to increase her body of knowledge and to be as current as is humanly possible. She carefully explains your diagnosis until you agree that you have an understanding of what is happening & changing in your body. East Texas is lucky to have a physician of this caliber.
