Dr. Pasquantonio graduated from Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine. Summers, during dental school, she worked for the Army as a research psychologist and is a trained clinical hypnotist. The doctor is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and is a pioneer in the clinical use of bacteriology in dentistry, with fellowship and founding member status in the International Dental Health Alliance (formerly known as the International Dental Health Foundation). Dr. Pasquantonio is trained with pre-fellow status, on all aspects of laser dentistry.

Dr. Pasquantonio sits on the executive board of the Massachusetts Academy of General Dentistry and is currently the chair of the Academy's Mentoring Committee, acting as the Academy's liason with the Boston dental schools. In addition, the doctor represents the Women's Dental Society of MA on the Massachusetts Dental Society's Council on Dental Care and Benefits Programs.
