Dr. Vanda Jean Blinn, MD

Hard to put into words just how wonderful Dr. Blinn has been for our family. Every once in a blue moon you meet a physician who so clearly was born to be a physician because they so clearly embody the all-encompassing skill, care, and intelligence that it takes to be an exceptional doctor. That's doctor Blinn. Approachable, down-to-earth, highly intelligent, and wonderful with children. She is thorough and careful without blowing things out of proportion, in my opinion the perfect balance. In addition, she was honest with us when we were thinking of putting our son in daycare at the age of one to socialize him...she understood our plan but explained to us that developmentally he was doing fine and that he would benefit more from the one-on-one care he was already receiving than he would from the daycare setting. She also explained that the many pathogens and sicknesses that many children in daycare contract do not confer any benefit to the child's long-term immunomodulation. What I… respected was that she gave her honest, well-informed opinion that happened to go against what we had planned, she did that because she cared about our child's overall health & well-being over the parents' plans, as it should be. Naturally, we backed out of daycare and have had a happy, healthy boy while many of the children around us suffer from relentless colds and viral illnesses due to daycare.Terrific patient advocate & all-around phenomenal human being.

The office has the conventional pediatritian stressed feel with Pro-Pharma posters. However, Dr. Blinn is supremely intelligent, compassionate, knowledgable, and caring and could make up for any of that! Dr. Blinn has literally saved my daughter's life (she trusted my intuition and fought with the insurance company to do more testing). It resulted in a proper diagnosis that we can manage. The amount of securty her knowledge has provided has made our family feel protected and safe. With my daughter becoming an adult, I wish she could find a suitable primary care physician. There will be no replacing Dr. Blinn!

I would recommend this office without hesitation. They are caring, knowledgeable, an awesome team. I will be sad when my daughter has to graduate from a pediatrician! It has been a very good experience!

My daughter would get scrapes and scratches as any normal kid would get. Her bleeding never seemed to stop - even little cuts. Dr. Blinn sent us to Childrens Hospital in Boston for testing. Our daughter was diagnosed with factor 7 deficiency. It is a blood clotting disorder that happens in 1 in every 500,000 people. Great call Dr. Blinn. The office staff has always been extremely helpful, I have always been able to get same day appointments.
