Worst Doctor. Had a very bad experience at cornerstone.

When I was 15, I told Dr. Nayal about severe menstrual cramps I would regularly have that had worsened with time and often came with vomiting. She just kind of shrugged and said to try Advil or else the other path would be a hysterectomy. Removal of the uterus at 15 is a ridiculous thing to even bring up!! Later on, I learned of many other reasons one could have severe cramps that she never mentioned.

I am 19 years old and I went to see her because of vomiting. She prescribed me medicine meant ONLY for cancer patients and post-op patients, only after rudely insinuating I was pregnant, which I knew confidently that I was not.

My child is diagnosed UTI in ER. She in clininc could not diagnose it

Dr. Nayal ignored symptoms that my daughter was having and diagnosed her with a sinus infection when in fact she had a UTI. My daughter therefore remained untreated for days while we insisted on getting a proper diagnosis. Meanwhile my 18 month old had to get blood drawn 4 times, not to mention all the shots of antibiotics she then had to get b/c the infection had grown stronger! Dr. Nayal did not treat us with respect. On the contrary, she belittled us and treated us as negligent parents when we did not treat her according to how Dr. Nayal reccomended (which was for an infection that she did not in fact have).

This doctor looked at my child's rashes and self assuredly gave him a diagnosis that does not even come close to his symptoms. We went back and saw a different doctor two days later who also confirmed she gave us a diagnosis that has nothing to do with what he had. She also did not make an effort to be nice or comforting to the child. Other doctors at the practice try to approach children in a slow, patient manner, first trying to accomodate them. She skipped all the hodge podge of comfortability and advised me to hold him dow. I refused and talked to my child instead and he listened, opened his mouth and let her look into his ears without a fuss. She acknowledged surprisingly that this was the most cooperative child she's ever seen.Yes Dr. Nayal, maybe if you took the time to get comfortable with the kids and not go the aggressive way from the start of holding them down for a simple check up, you'd get more cooperation.
