Dr. Vartan Tashjian, MD

Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!! My husband suffered terribly in Dr Tashjian’s care. If he had only listened and followed up with more than an X-ray. Shortly after surgery my husband kept saying something was wrong. Tashjian told him it was depression. He was very depressed because the dr blew him off, he was in terrible pain. The bones never healed! Thankfully we connected with the best. The device NEVER should have been used. My husband had to have major C2-T3 and the failed hardware had to stay. Seriously if statue of limitations weren’t an issue he would be facing major lawsuit. Request a different doctor!! I wish they offered negative stars. He would be a negative 10!

I would like to thank Doctor Vartan Tashjian. By far, this doctor is the best when it comes to making his patients understand the individuals situations. You can feel that he is very compassionate about his job and very caring towards his patients. I had a C4and C5 herniated fused by him almost 4 years ago. I highly recommend him. These days, I back doing my weightlifting without any issues. I feel awesome! Thanks Doctor Tashjian!

Dr. Tashjian is a most knowledgeable and understanding doctor--I strongly recommend him--would not have left his care if the distance involved in going to Kaiser from the High Desert had not been so great.

He is the best of best money can buy for you. He cares and he did canceled his vacation for me so i could get best health care. We love you from all over the world.

My daughter was diagnosed with a neurocytoma brain tumor a year ago. We were so lucky to get Dr. Tashjian as her neurosurgeon. He was so caring and knowledgeable, and he walked us through a very difficult time. He was always there with a big hug and answers to our questions. We just got the news that her MRI is clean, and she does not have to go back for a year. There is not a doctor that I would recommend more than Dr. Tashjian. He is the best!

He is highly professional, highly skilled and very caring. Dr. Tashjian performed brain surgery on my right temporal lobe to remove a benign tumor and I couldn't have been happier for the care I received and my recovery. He is the best.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Tashjian with Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, CA. I wasn't sure if I was going to have the surgery he recommended(ACDF C4-C5 and C5-C6). He was supportive with my decision for a second opinion. The second opinion matched his original diagnosis. The doctor who gave me the second opinion highly recommended Dr. Tashjian also stating that he is one of the best Neurosurgeons around. I am very grateful for the surgery and feeling much better than before the surgery. He answered all my questions and eased my fears. I am confident that I will make a full recovery.

Doc was knowledgable and explained my procedure very clearly. He had a calm and patient bed side manner which put me at ease. After surgery he went and updated my fianc in the waiting room to put her at ease and once I was awake he came to recovery to give me an update.

He really took the time to listen to my concerns about surgery. He layed out all the options, and helped me make the right choice. In my case, surgery wasn't warrented, and he told me that. Other docs would likly have pushed surgery on me. I'm glad I listened.
