Dr. Vasantha Badhey, MD

I cycled through 6 different meds that were ineffective during my 4 yrs in her care. She dismissed my side effects that affected my quality of life, like weight gain, anhedonia, excessive sweating, and more. She kept me on ineffective name-brand meds much longer than needed. I didn't know any better because she was my first psychiatrist. I admit that I wasn’t a compliant patient. I struggled with accepting that I needed to take meds for the rest of my life and the expenses added more pressure. Instead of helping me through that, she just pushed expensive pills and couldn't care less. Generic drugs could have been more effective and maybe I would have been more compliant. I felt her priority was to get pharma kickbacks. I do not trust or recommend Dr. Badhey for other patients. Please find a dr who genuinely cares about your health.
