Dr. Artesian walked put on my mother, his patient, three times. Once while she was in the hospital when she could not have any visitors. Our family had been trying to speak with one of my mothers doctors for over two weeks and when he finally had my Mom call me from her phone while he was in the room I was so happy to speak with him but as soon as I asked a few questions he got combative and basically said to not question him and just trust his care of my mother, then he tossed the phone to my mother and left the room. Turns out he walked out on her previously when my mom was asking him questions as well. I finally got a hold of a nurse practitioner who apologized for his behavior and started communicating with me so we felt better about her care. She was released after 29 days and when we went for the follow up visit at his office he walked in the door and immediately focused on me instead of his patient and wanted to know why I wasn't more friendly. I asked to focused on his patient… my mother instead of worrying about me and he wouldn't let it go so I told him I didn't like that he walked out on my mother in the hospital and left her upset and alone. His response was to walk out again stating he wouldn't see her with me there. Everyone is suffering thru these hard times and struggling to cope but continually walking out patients because they don't like being questioned or don't think they are getting enough respect is not acceptable behavior for any doctor.

I have seen many pulmonologists over the years and Dr. Artinian gets my vote. He's not arrogant, he's pleasant, has a sense of humor and compassion.

I really like Him he is a Great Dr and is very thorough when he see's you met him after Surgery in 2011 he even has Great bedside manners he's a card very accurate!!!!!
