Dr. Veena Jacob Korah, MD

I tried for over a year but finally switched to another doctor at the One Medical practice. Dr. Korah has a history of inappropriate notes in my patient file. For example: I told her I walked 15 mins to work and 15 mins to home everyday. Because the walk didn't raise heart rate, she wrote in her notes that "patient doesn't exercise". Another example: She indicated some lab work might not be fully covered by insurance. I called insurance with lab codes provided by Dr. Korah to learn cost. When the out of pocket cost was more than insurance quote, I needed a medical necessity letter. Dr Korah had written test wasn't needed in her clinical notes. Therefore, I couldn't obtain the medical necessity note. She never told me it wasn't necessary. I have countless of other examples. In addition, I find her bedside manner and conversational tone as argumentative and condescending. In my 49 years, I have never experienced a doctor with awful bedside manner. I could appreciate and respect… bluntness, however her style comes across as patronizing and arrogant.
