Dr. Vehniah K. Tjong, MD

I went to see Dr. Tjong about shoulder pain, the doctor and her staff were excellent, she explained the imaging in detail and after several tests recommended a course of action. Very professional with a great bedside manner.

Dr Tjong gave us great care. She listened to our concerns and took the time to address them. The surgical care was complete. We received instructions and a plan of care that worked well for us. The office staff communicated in a timely fashion via voicemail and mychart.

Dr. Tjong and her treated me like I was just a number, not a person who has an injury majorly impacting their life coming to her as a last resort. I expect better care from a Northwestern surgeon.

Complete lack of care when patient expressed concern. Seemed to have her PAs doing work that I would have thought she would be doing, such as returning calls or messages directed specifically to her.

Dr. Tjong treated me for a posterior shoulder dislocation. At my final check up she caused further damage to my shoulder through an awkward strength test, leaving me in worse shape than I arrived. When I asked what she did and why it became clear that she was unaware that she was treating a posterior dislocation. She had clearly not reviewed my file.
