Dr. Veita Joyce Bland, MD

I have been a patient with Dr. Bland for over 6 years. My husband left after 3 years due to unprofessionalism, being left on line for long periods of time and sitting in the office over an hour past scheduled time. I had numerous conversations with Dr. Bland regarding office staff and practices. She would become very upset saying they were doing their best and this happened in all offices. Well I am now leaving the practice for the same reason. Just very unprofessional!

She has problems writing prescriptions with enough refills to last until the next appointment (usually 6 months). When I ran out of refills she wouldn't refill the prescription unless I came in for an appointment. I got sick and tired of the games so I moved on to a better practice. Not recommended.

The staff are extremely unprofessional. Dr. Bland is overwhelmed and you can see it on her face as she interacts with her patients. She makes you feel like you are a burden on her. She is short tempered and gets irritated easily. She’s the worst doctor I’ve ever had. Her staff can’t handle anything efficiently. On a few visits one of her nurses was only concerned about trying to sell me a vaginal rejuvenation procedure because the clinic had acquired a new piece of equipment for this purpose. The nurse approaching me regarding such a procedure was so unprofessional and embarrassing. The whole experience, from scheduling appointments, to trying to get a prescription refilled, or even test results, has been a nightmare. There aren’t any suggestions for improvement to offer. I’ve given them enough chances and the experiences get worse. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but given this awful experience I want to make sure no one endures such frustration when seeking health care. We pay… doctors for medical care and it is only appropriate that we get in return the medical services we pay for. I refuse to continue to pay my heath insurance bill each month to get a rude doctor along with unprofessional staff, therefore, I’m taking my money elsewhere.

She has been treating me for years and her care is excellent. She takes time to explain your condition and treatments so that you have no doubt about your prognosis when you leave the office.

Dr Bland & Dr Hill are amoung the best Family doctors in the Triad Area of NC.

She is my doctor and I am currently looking for a new one. I had std testing done by giving a urine sample, I also had blood drown for hiv/aids testing. The good thing is that Dr. Bland herself told me my blood test results which came in 3 business days later but when I called in the following day to hear about my urine sample, the nurse tried to tell me I never gave urine and it wasn’t on my charts as well as asked why I had a urine testing done. I explained why and she argued back with saying I didn’t give one and that the only results I had was from the blood. I believe they lost my urine and I will filing a lawsuit for malpractice if I go get testing done and something is wrong. This is against my patient rights! Please do not go to them. They are so unprofessional.

Always excellent care. She cares about you like you are her family.

Dr. Bland is one of the smartest women I know. Not only is she bright but the affiliates she is connected with are the best in their fields.
