Dr. Velimir A. Micovic, MD

This rating is about the call center not the doctor. The doctor is wonderful. The call center however is awful and is outside of the United States. They require 3 pieces of personal information before they will make/change an appointment or even talk to you. I have been hung up on repeatedly and refuse to give them my personal information anymore. I have to drive to the office to make or change an appointment now.

Dr. Micovik is truly a life saver. Janine his arnp is super too. I have a debilitating condition and we have literally tried everything from epidurals to shots. I have other conditions that have placed me into 3 coma's as well. But these Drs literally refuse to give up on me. Even when I am literally peeing blood from a 21mm kidney stone they are constantly there checking on my health. So yes you may have to wait for an hour to see them but it's because they take the time to listen to their patient and determine their course of treatment. But you will leave knowing that you're actually being cared for and not just some invoice for an institution. If one treatment doesn't work then they research each new one that comes along and calm your nerves when you think all else has failed. Dr. Micovik and the drs at this clinic have been in this business for years so if you're just a drug head looking for dope keep going because this clinic caters to each individual patient with serious needs… and not to those looking for a fix. They work hard for their money and only for the true concern of their patient. Something that is entirely missed from the good old days when a Dr truly cares for the clientele. Thank all for all you do.

Dr Micovic is a wonderful doctor. I have gone to him for 11 years. He is caring, patient and will listen to you. Since the drs in his office are no longer under the control of Lee Memorial Health Systems, they can give even better service to their patients. Dr. Micovic always addressed any problems I have had quickly and very professionally. I would highly recommend him to anyone. 5 *'s +

I have been going to Dr Micovic for five years and he is wonderful. He goes the extra mile to get my pain under control. I wouldn’t go to another pain doctor, Dr Micvioc is one of a kind. Thanks for helping me.

Just a heads up, after several years as a patient of Dr. Micovic's & getting the best of care; he has kow-towed to the new government guidelines, choosing to protect himself rather than be an advocate for his patients.

I go to this doctor but have only seen him once and I been seeing him for 8 months I sit and wait a half hour to an hour depends on how many people are there and some times the staff isn't that nice sometimes they make you feel like they look down on you cause you go there it makes me feel unwanted at this office and I can't even talk to the actual doctor when I schedule to see him cause I'd like to speak to him no I get a nurse practioner it rediculous and she makes me uncomfortable half the time cause the way she sounds so annoyed I would not recommend this doctor unless you want to be ignored

I have been a patient of Dr. Micovic more than 3 years and have been going to his Cape Coral office for over 6 years. Dr. Micovic is an excellent physician and a very caring person. When you talk to him, he looks you square in the eye and listens to you every word you say. He explains things in easy-to-understand laymanâ??s terms. I am 70 years old with chronic back pain and thanks to Dr. Micovicâ??s care I am able to live a fairly active lifestyle. Everyone who works in the Cape Coral office acts in a very professional manner & are always helpful & polite. I canâ??t say enough good things about both him and his staff and highly recommend him.

I have been a patient here for the past 3 1/2 years. Dr. Micovic and his staff have always been professional, courteous, and very medically knowledgeable. I have a condition that may last the rest of my life. Dr. Micovic has always been up front with me about my condition. He has tried to help me cope with the chronic pain I experience and he continues to help me with same and won't stop until the pain is under control. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Micovic, his medical staff and the front office staff.
