Dr. Verna S Liss, MD

This Doctor has no respect for patient, and patient's time. She is always late (approximate waiting time , 1 hour). She talks from up to down, and with a negative attitude.

I had to change this doc. Very aggravating experience. The medical group is is the worst.

I really like having Dr. Liss as my primary care doctor. She is very thorough and takes the time to make sure I am taken care of. The staff is great.

Dr. Liss is extremely arrogant, condescending, rude, and preachy. She doesn't listen, but loves to talk. My first visit with her - appointment was at 9:00 a.m., arrived at 8:40, in case I needed to fill out paperwork. Didn't see the doc until after 10:00. How can a doctor be an hour behind schedule when the day begins?? I decided within 10 minutes that she was a very poor match for me. I don't need a doctor who looks down on me as an ignorant fool. What a bad experience. I've seen a lot of pretentious doctors, but she definitely takes the cake.

Dr Liss is a great doctor who really knows her stuff. She is straight forward and very personal. I felt very well taken care of as her patient. The only downside was the wait time. Sometimes I would sit in the room for over an hour waiting. But still worth it for such excellent care.

The doctor is really caring and spends time with you listening to your problems. But the wait time is ridiculous! The last few times I've been there I had to wait at least a solid 1+ hr, the latest was a ridiculous 1 hr 45 mins!!! What a waste of my time. Even when I first started to see her, over 5 years ago, it was hard trying to get annual check up with her. I had to wait at least a month or two from the time I called in to the time I was able to see her. But they recently improved their scheduling so it's now easier and faster to see her for my annual exam. But the wait time to see the doctor gravely need to improve! The last visit I had with her was the last straw. Even if she's a nice doctor, i'm going to find another doctor who has better time management.

Dr Liss is just a great MD.She takes time to listen, understand and definitely really care about the person.She wont call you a "customer" but a patient... Rings a bell?

I want to take this time to acknowledge Dr. Liss. She was my primary physician for 9 years. Of the years, she became a qualified and caring doctor who desires the best for her patients. It is sad to loose her, because of Insurance changes. Insurance companies just don't understand the quality these doctors have and the relationship they build over the years. I am at the point now where I have to find a new doctor. If I could afford it, I would stay with Dr. Liss.
