Dr. Vernon Leroy Goltry, MD

Dr Goltry preformed surgery to remove a benign tumor from my paraded gland. This was a scary surgery with many chances for complications to my facial nerves. He was so nice and attentive and answered my many questions and made me feel completely comfortable. I’m happy to say that there were no complications, the surgery and recovery went great and I have only a slight scar. I would recommend him to anyone, he was amazing and so was his staff!

Awesome experience with this first rate ENT in Boise Idaho! He is exceptional in treating dizziness, which I had had for years. He takes time with his patients, getting an accurate history by written as well as verbal methods. He doesn't rush through the exam. He answers questions and offers alternative treatments. Also, if you have a deviated nasal septum, can't breathe well at night, and wake unrested, as my cousin did, go see this specialist.

I have had a deviated septum sense I could remember, causing me to regularly wake up through the night and experience constant stuffiness. After meeting with Gultry I was able to schedule my surgery within a week! I'm now four months into recovery I can breathe great and am sleeping through the night! I also would like to make note of Gultrys availability during my surgery recovery, I was able to call him on his cell when I had questions or concerns and he answered each time I called! Very impressed!

Dr. Goltry has trated me for several years. He has repaired my septum and has removed growths in my inner ears and has restored my hearing in both ears. In one case, he was able to use the remaining parts in my ear to restore my hearing. In the other ear, he installed a T.O.R.P., a small hearing protshetic, in my inner ear which enables to ear drum to detect sound. The T.O.R.P. has been in for five years and been completely trouble free. Dr. Goltry always explained every option, each proceedure fully and exactly what to expect. He always saw me personnaly and was fully responsible for my care. I wholeheartly agree with the other excellent reviews about him on this site. A great doctor like him is hard to find and I will always be grateful for everything he has done for me.

I want to express my deep appreciation to Dr. Goltry for restoring my hearing. I was apprehensive at first to have surgery as I have been deaf in my left ear, and was told it could not be restored. After consulting with him, I made the decision to have the surgery. It has just been amazing and I feel liberated. I can hear out of my ear, the recovery process has been relatively easy, and this has changed my life, literally. I am extremely grateful and I would recommend Dr. Goltry to anyone. He has been very meticulous, thorough, caring and supportive through this whole thing. Again, thank you so much!

i was born with a cholesteatoma.. after multiple surgeries by another ent, i went to dr. goltry as a last ditch effort to get rid of the tumor and vertigo... I have been tumor and vertigo free for over 10yrs now

My children had had many bouts of tonsillitis, and when their pediatrician wanted to put them on yet another round of antibiotics, I asked if he would refer us to an ENT specialist. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Goltry.I made an appointment and my children enjoyed the toys and books in Dr. Goltry's office while we waited. Dr. Goltry was efficient and thorough in his exam and discovered a problem with my son's ears that had gone undiagnosed.Dr. Goltry took the time to explain everything he was doing and answered all of my questions about the procedures he recommended. I didn't feel like we were being rushed in and out as I had experienced at other medical offices.Dr. Goltry's staff set up the procedures for us at the time of our visit, and no time was wasted getting our problems resolved at a cost that was far less than I expected.Our follow-up visits were scheduled ahead of time and Dr. Goltry made certain my children were clear of ear, nose, and throat issues before he released… them from his care. I had dental issues that were affecting my sinuses, so he gave me the name of the dentist to see for my specific problem.I would highly recommend Dr. Goltry as the best ENT in Boise!
