Dr. Vernon David Theis, MD

Agree with patient who said he cannot remember anything from one visit to the next. I realize he is busy, has a lot of patients but hey read my chart, it's all in there. Stop asking me about ALL my kids, I only have the ONE you delivered. Very frustrating, I want a provider that takes the time to know me even if I'm only there once or twice a year. Staff is RUDE RUDE RUDE.

I have been a patient of his for almost 8 years now. When i was getting close to my delivery of my son, he made it a point to also schedule meetings with other doctors in his office so i can feel comfortable with them incase they were the ones on duty when i went into labor... great idea! He has a great bedside manner as well. every time I have a appointment with him i feel very comfortable and I feel like he actually takes the time to listen to me! He is a busy doctor, but IF you feel you have waited too long in the waiting room, he is well worth the wait!!! I NEVER leave his office feeling like he didnt listen, or i didnt get questions answered. I would not change doctors for the world. Dr Theis has my full, 100% trust!

This is the only OB office ive ever been to Dr Theis delivered so far 2 out of 3 of my kids and working on # 4, I couldn't imagine going anywhere eles.

I really loved Dr. Theis and he was amazing when it came time to deliver my child. But since i am pregnant again i dont know if i will be going to this office. Average wait time is atleast 30-45 minutes in the waiting room and then be prepared to wait another 30 minutes in the exam room before he sees you. I had a lot of medical problems with my pregnancy and it did bother me that he could not remember anything i had told him a week ago. So i always had to go through what happened last time. Staff is rude. will demand payment and embarrass you. They wanted my premium up front. 3,000. He is a very good doctor- but be prepared to wait, deal with staff and review your last visit.

My first visit with Dr. Theis was last month.I only had to wait a couple weeks to get my pap smear appointment.His office in Schertz is new and pretty and close to my house.His office staff was super friendly and knew how nervous I was.My last doctors before I moved to Texas were nice but Dr. Theis really made me relax by talking and laughing before we "got down to business" of my exam.I was amazed when his computer sent in my BC prescription to the pharmacy. I am an IT professional in banking and computers have made medicine better finally.Highly recommend this doctor and I'll definitely go back

Dr. Theis is not my ob/gyn, but he was on-call when my doctor was out of town. Dr. Theis was friendly and courteous and gave me LOTS of time (17 hours of labor, 3 of those spent at 9 cm) before he told me I needed a c-section to deliver my baby. He did my c-section, and my recovery was perfect and I had no pain (only mild discomfort). He came to check on me several times and I was pleased with his care.
