Bedside manner is amazing he even throws in a few jokes to.make u feel comfortable amazing doctor.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Yamashiro and his office staff. Everyone at St. Mark's Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates is great. Have yet to have a bad experience. Wait times are not bad, staff is friendly and courteous, office is clean and welcoming and Dr. Yamashiro and his partners are awesome.

I had been seeing a doctor for a few months during my pregnancy, and I just wasn't connecting with him. I took a few friends advice and decided to make an appointment with Dr. Yamashiro. He was wonderful! Great bedside manner, asked lots of questions about my personal life and family, and seemed to genuinely care about me. He had a solution to each issue I was having, and he even remembered my husband and child's name, and kept saying things about them. It is things like those that keep me going to a doctor. The staff, including the nurse and receptionist, were both so so friendly, which made a huge difference, too.

I have been seeing Dr. Yamashiro for over 12 years. He has seen me through trying to get pregnant, live births, miscarriages, lump scares, perimenopause you name it. He is so understanding and can relate. He always takes my concerns seriously. He believes that you as a woman know your body the best and if you feel something is wrong he will always look into it. He has never made me feel like "he knows more" even though he clearly does. He presents thing in such a way that he validates your concerns while putting them to rest. His approach feel like he is a partner in my health rather than the superior. I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to him. Thank you Yama for all you do!

Dr. Yamashiro is amazing! He takes the time to answer all of my questions. He is very easy to talk to and has wonderful bedside manner. I wouldn't think of seeing anyone else.

Dr Yamashiro is the best! I seen him recently for severe lower abdominal pain. He did an ultrasound in minutes and seen a massive fibroid filling most of my uterus and found 2 large cysts on my right ovary. I am choosing surgery option for a hysterectomy because I have suffered and suffered with these problems for years. Dr Yamashiro is quick, accurate, and compassionate. I know I am in great care.

Dr. Yamashiro is a highly competent OB/GYN. He is one if of three doctors on St. Marks Hospital High Risk OB team. That means to me, he can handle anything, which is very reassuring for a pregnant patient. I have worked in the medical field for many years and have had the opportunity to assist and interact with a number of physicians, as well as working with nurses who previously worked in Gynecology, so over the years I have learned a lot about what an OB/GYN practice should and should not be. This practice is what an OB/GYN office should be. Here, it is easy to reach somebody to make an appointment; it is easy to speak to my doctor's nurse; my phone calls are returned, prescription issues are handled without difficulty; a lab for blood draw is downstairs which is extremely convienent. Many of the ultrasounds are done in office, which is also convenient. When I needed an appointment unexpectedly, it wasn't a problem, and I was seen by Dr. Yamashiro right away. The front office… and back office staff are extremely pleasant, and never make me feel rushed. Getting to Dr. Yamashiro --- he is friendly, warm, and has a calming bedside manner. I have never seen him grumpy. He always welcomes questions and concerns and never rushes a visit. You can tell when you meet him that he is experienced and has your best interest in mind. I have never had a bad experience at this office. Highly recommended.

Dr.Yamashiro is a great doctor. He spends the time with you and it its not a rush like most doctors.He spends the time to answer questions and make sure you understand what he has said. He is very kind and has a great sense of humor.

Dr Yamashiro is the best; I am so grateful that we were referred to him 3 yrs ago. He delivered my first daughter via unplanned c-section and in a few weeks he will deliver my second. I am comfortable with him and always trust his judgement. He is able to explain things easily and is always reassuring when need be. Recently he knew I was worried about an ultrasound assessment by another doctor; he called me after hours to walk through the report and explain it to me himself to ensure that I was no longer worried. He goes above and beyond and is a fantastic doctor. His staff is also wonderful - so kind, caring, and good at what they do! I highly recommend him!!
