Dr. Veronica Epstein, MD

It was my first appointment with Dr Veronica Epstein on Monday 04/01/2024, when I was called in by a nurse, who’s name is Yulia, I was treated with Respect and care, but, when Dr Epstein walked into the exam room and greeted me with a smile, I felt like I was her family member, Dr Epstein is very professional and knowledgeable, all my questions were answered. I find this doctor to be ver thorough and kind.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Epstein, very unreachable, when I want to talk to her, she call me back 4-5 days later, the staff are rude and they are not helpful at all, I have to wait at least an hour to see her in the office, and when I see her, visit finish in 5 minutes and she is in a hurry, no compassion about her patients, and Very unreachable, and the staff are not helpful at all. Waste of my time going to this doctor.

She is an incredible doctor in every way passionate ,thinking outside of the box , caring - all of the above many times ,although the staff could benefit from some kind of training to improve their customer service ,she is absolutely incredible !!!!!!!!!!!!

Her office staff is atrocious. They coded my blood lab work wrong so Medicare denied payment. I got a bill for $170.00. It was a simple fix, all the office staff had to do was recode and send to Medicare. Four months later I am still getting billed for the blood work. No one EVER returns any phone calls. This is the worst office staff I have ever seen. I'm not even sure that Dr. Epstein knows about my phone calls. Perhaps the staff deletes the calls before she can hear them. I'm finding a new doctor.

Dr. Epstein is pleasant and seems very competent. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get appointment however! You never get a human on the phone - even if it was an emergency. Only voicemail and the mailboxes are usually full. You have to physically go to the office to make an appointment. It is very, very frustrating and time consuming.

NO I WILL NEVER TRY TO CONTACT THIS DOCTOR EVER, EVER AGAIN! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN GET THROUGH TO ANYONE IN THE OFFICE. WHY EVEN HAVE A PHONE IF YOU ARENT GONNA ANSWER. I CALLED ALL DAY LEFT MESSAGES AND NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. ITS A WONDER IF IT DIDNT SAY MAILBOX FULL. THAT IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. AFTER THIS I WONT EVEN MENTION THIS LADIES NAME. 18 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE MY TUSH. IF IN 18 YEARS SHE HASNT REALIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN SHES A BIGGER FOOL THAN I REALIZED.

Dr. Epstein was recommended to me as a primary physician by a former co-worker. After only one visit to her office, I have started wondering if I had unintentionally insulted or wronged that person... Let me clarify, my totally negative experience is mainly with the office staff, but since most of the time I have to deal with them, I would NEVER recommend this office to a friend or acquaintance. I have given one star to some categories only because there is no lower grade. One star = horrible I have switched to a different primary physician.

Like others, I've had problems with office staff, phone calls, and perscription renewals. I was told that a perscription would not be renewed for high blood pressure medicine until I came in for an appt., but that there were no appts avail for over a month. I asked that Epstein please call me directly and she never did. Not sure if the problem is Epstein or the office staff but there are serious issues that need to be addressed.

She knows her medicine. I have confidence in her. She is a very kind person, too.
