Dr. Veronica T Lerner, MD

Dr Lerner did a great job of reducing my anxiety for my recent hysteroscopy and D and C. From the first telehealth visit to the post-procedure follow-up, she was organized, communicated the directions clearly and made me feel that I was in the most capable hands. She gave me printed material, explaining the procedure, the pre and post instructions and how we would communicate before and after the procedure. Her office manager, Nina, is equally kind and professional--what a pleasure to call a doctor's office and get to talk to Nina. Dr. Lerner and Nina are role models for how health care should be provided.

She is AMAZING! Kind, brilliant, gentle. I saw her yesterday. While all other doctors said I'm postmenopause, she explained I am not. My other doctor took me off norethindrone. She did not understand why and restarted it ask if works for endometriosis. Mirena was also offered under anesthesia. I'm thinking about it. Dr. Lerner showed me my MRI report which is suspicious for recurrent endo. Given the complexity and severity of my case, we agreed I should return to my original excision surgeon. I have the utmost respect for her as a physician, surgeon, and person for recognizing what is beyond her skill set and saying so. She is the BEST!! Dr. Lerner will be receiving many more referrals from this Endometriosis Advocate! I also must say her assistant Nina is the sweetest, kindest, most caring person. I LOVE HER!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr Lerner. She treated me with respect, got back to me quickly and explained results, disease process and treatment options very thoroughly. I felt included in the decision making process.

My first encounter with Dr. Lerner took 2 hours. Yes. She spoke with me for 2 hours. She needed to know my full mediical history. SHe didn't rush like other doctors do. Dr. Lerner went step bt step. She listened to me and my concerns. She didn't brush any off my concerns and answered every question I had. She explained things very clearly. In the operating room both times she concentrated in my well being and what was best for me the patient. Dr. Lerner called me at 7am the day after surgery and stood almost an hour on the phone. This time she asked all the questions and made suggestions for a better recovery. I never had a Dr. call to check on me or care for me the way she did. Dr. Lerner has what I call "Anointed Blessed Hands" I would need 3 to 4 pages to fully describe the type of doctor she is and the care she provides. I would reccommend her to any woman who is in need of a hysterectomy BSO.

I have been struggling with a really bad pain during my periods and also unexplained infertility... Dr. Lerner performed my surgery and removed endometriosis ( stage 3). I am pain free now and was able to get pregnant. Thank you Dr. Lerner for your help, your constant communication with me before and after the surgery, your incredible team! Dr. Lerner is amazing, thanks to her I have pain free life! Please don’t be afraid to fight endometriosis, be your own advocate and seek help from doctors like Veronica Lerner!

What a beautiful experience I had with Dr. Lerner and her team who did a great Job with my surgery and there was no complications. I feel much much better after my surgery. She’s actually my favorite Dr. And I recommend her to any woman suffering from fibroids. Her patients and care for humanity is everything for me. God bless you Doc.

From the beginning of my journey, Dr. Lerner has gone above and beyond to fit me into her schedule, conduct an exam/pre surgery consultation, and schedule my robotic laparoscopic myomectomy for as soon as possible. Dr. Lerner was compassionate and patient. I felt prepared before my surgery and she so kindly called my proxy AND my mom after the procedure. When I asked a pre surgery or post-op-follow-up question, Dr. Lerner made it her business to contact me either early in the morning, in between surgery/appointments/ or in the late evening. I never felt OUT of communication with my doctor, which is extremely important. Thus far, I feel supported during my recovery process & I feel confident that if I needed to contact Dr. Lerner for anything, she’ll be Quick to respond. Furthermore, I was referred to Dr. Lerner’s service, and I feel blessed and fortunate for the referral. If surgery is the route you’re considering, you’ll be Safe… and Supported with Dr. Lerner as your surgeon.
