I saw Dr. Caceres-Lopez two years ago when I thought I was sick. She seemed nice and genuinely interested in helping. I was surprised by how much time she spent with me. However, it quickly became clear that the diagnosis she gave me was not correct. I kept calling the office and asking her to give me a call. After constantly calling for three weeks, she finally called back. She said there was nothing out or the ordinary in my test results (which she would send) and that I should continue taking the medicine she prescribed and drinking more water. When I finally got my test results, they showed that a certain result was automatically flagged (in mulitple places) as being way outside of the normal range. I ended up having to go to the ER. If I hadn't called and gotten my test results sent, I would probably be dead. Now medicine is not that straightforward and doctors are busy, but it was just gross negligence for the doctor to not tell me about this result. I sent her a letter… explaining what happened, and she never even apologized. Needless to say, I will never be coming back.
