Doesn’t care and rushes through patients.

I was misdiagnosed by another doctor, he diagnosed me correctly. Has excellent bedside manors, explains and answers every question I have. Office staff always friendly and helpful.

The office Mgr Celine at the downtown ofc is totally incompetent...very rude and condescending..took two months to finally get med prescription ordered once prescribedfrom nothing other than poor follow up and lazy employee..the receptionist have NO PEOPLE skills and ahold not be answering the phone..I miss dr tan ..she was the only dr with any manners or showed any compassion..dr a too busy to show any interest ..moves the patients in and out like cattle...I was blessed the treatment worked first go round or else I would have found another dr...the pearland ofc is much nicer..cleaner and couldn't ask for more polite employes ...

I agree with the person who said Dr. Ankoma-Sey is brilliant man, but getting refills for prescriptions is a nightmare. I realized that I was out of a certain medication, so I called his office immediately and asked if the prescription could be called in and then overnighted to me. The person on the phone promised she would take care of the Rx. It is a week later--I feel horrible--the prescription has not been called in and nobody knows where Dr. Ankoma-Sey is or where he will be next. When you are sick, the people in this office just don't care. Seriously thinking that it is time for a new doctor.

The Dr. Don't really want to take the time to explain things out. Always behind the appointment by a good hour. The Office Staffs: The staffs are rude, lazy, uncooperative and unreachable to both patient and to pharmacies. No return calls Refilling the Meds is a nightmare process.

I have been a patient of his for over a year and finally decided that I've had enough of the lack of response from him and his staff. I am a transplant patient and am seen at the St. Luke's transplant center but I am all to familiar with his personal office staff. There is no doubt that the man is brilliant and knows his stuff, but you will never be treated more than a statistic by him and his incredibly useless staff. If you are looking for more than a minute appointment and someone to care for YOU and not just your liver, go elsewhere.

I saw Dr. Ankoma-Sey for several months. During my visits he was intelligible. His accent was so strong I could not understand him. His office hours were very limited, I think once every 10 days or so. Not scceptable for a potential transplant. I was an executive that traveled the world in sales and marketing management. I have dealt with many accents, his was beyond understanding. In the end I was rejected by St. Lukes's for a liver transplant. I went to Methodist and got one within a year. I would never go to him or St. Luke's. Methodist also transplanted my heart the same time as the liver.
