This renowned cardiologist is long in the tooth and incompetent—his negligent care nearly cost me my life! To see this man you must endure many hours of waiting even though you made an appointment months ago. This is because he chatters endlessly with each patient before finally talks about your condition. My advice: avoid this clown

Despite his amiable manner, he is practically unreachable, didn’t explain my echo and catheterization, and didn’t recognize the critical state of my aortic valve. I had to find my own cardiac surgeon for my open heart procedure. Also, allow 4-6 hours of waiting once you get an appointment. Three months is his typical lag time. You could be dead by then.

Besides 6 month lead times for an appointment and many hours spent waiting to be called, my rating stems from his negligent behavior. Worst of all he was monitoring my aortic valve for replacement and I had to go to a heart surgeon on my own who said the valve was near critical. During that window of time he never returned calls about my catheterization or any other messages I left. He showed up in the hospital after my open-heart surgery and basically had nothing to say.

Caring, thorough, kind, and intelligent physician. Explains things well, and is a great listener and observer, too.
