Dr. Victor Ragu Roberts, MD

I went to this Doctor explaining how badly I needed someone to help me with my Diabetes and weigh gaining issues. I had been to several other endocrinologists who couldn't help so I decided to try another one. On my first visit I was sitting in the exam room when the doctor walked in. Without even introducing himself he comes right over and tells me, " You're in Big Trouble" Your cholesterol is way too high and you are going to die of a heart attack. Then he brings in a salesman to try and get me to go on a insulin pump. and tells me that's my problem as my insulin needs to be regulated. We left that day with the understanding they would get back to me about ordering and qualifying a pump. The second visit the doctor comes in and then sends in the salesman again and we filled out the paperwork to order a pump. I had just had my lab work done and the doctor didn't even mention or discuss that my cholesterol had dropped to half of what it had been, even though he had been previously… concerned about my cholesterol. Then on my third visit the doctor brings in a medical student from FSU and she discusses the pump with us. At this time we established I was not ordering the pump as it and the insulin it uses was way too high for me to afford. We had previously been advised it would be free. When I stated I was not ordering the pump the doctor makes the statement, " Well there is nothing else I can do for you". I went to this doctor in hopes he could figure out why I was gaining so much and couldn't lose weight even though I was watching my diet. I later found out from my nephrologist that much of the weight gain was fluid from my kidneys as I had stage 3 Kidney failure. This doctor was more interesting in selling equipment than curing my medical issues as he did nothing to test me for why the gain in weight. He did nothing to put me on a special diet in fact it never came up. finally I gave up and chalked it up to another doctor who knows nothing about curing diabetes. The most I got from doctor was insults !!!!!!

I have been going to him for about five years now and he is the best doctor I have ever known. He spends as much time with you as you need and answers any questions you have. He is great at diagnosing any problems you have too. I totally recommend him!

Dr. Roberts' wife had a baby,Congratulations!! However the next day all appointments were pushed back 8 hours to accomodate the day off, that is understandable. Today, the day of the appointment at 1pm( apt was supposed to be in morning, rescheduled by office until late afternoon) office calle and said sorry, Dr. is not seeing patients until TUESDAY! 6 days from now! What, go 6 days without medication, he only writes 28 day scripts for a 28 day visit cycle. Now 6 days with no pain meds?? Irresponsible!!

He is the best Doctor and the best in diagnosing the problem, i highly recommend this Doctor to everybody.

Dr. Vaddepally has been my primary for quite some time now, he has gone above and beyond to make sure I received the best medical treatment needed. Also my daughter has cerebal palsy and Dr. Vaddepally has been wonderful with her. I reccomment this Doctor to anyone wanting a Doctor who is not only accurate in diagnostic but also goes above his means to make sure you are taken care of.
