Very compassionate surgeon after having breast cancer. Made me 'whole'. Was there for me every step of the way. Dr. Shingo is the best. Compassion, and skill.

Dr. Schingo is incredibly rude and botched my surgery. Do NOT see this doctor. I’ve never experienced a doctor who talked down to me the way he did.

Dr Schingo is FANTASTIC! He is clear w/ his suggestions and particular with his technique to give you beautiful results. He cares about you as a patient and how he can improve your look. Highly recommend him, truly a gem.

Do you cannot go to this Napoleon complex clog wearing incompetent imbecile. This little man botched my wife’s ear surgery which she paid out of pocket for, then wined when we came back for him to fix it. Kept shooting a little snide condescending remarks our way. Finally when we went back to get it re-pierced he screamed at me and my wife and then ran out of the room like a little girl screaming to call security when I told him not to speak to me that way. Left his poor PA and nurse in shock. Do not go to this Self proclaimed doctor ever. His incompetence will consume him. He should not be working on humans Or even animals for that fact. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. Run away from this little man as fast as you can.

I had a facelift with Dr. Schingo one week ago. I did my research prior to my first consult. Dr. Schingo is the only plastic surgeon in the upstate area to have completed a fellowship at the Manhattan ENT Hospital. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for this surgery and the care I have received has been unsurpassed! The nurses and office personnel are professional and well educated. What could have been a very stressful event was met by reassurance every step of the way. I highly recommend the practice of Fox and Schingo

I was very happy with my results from my surgery. My expectations were met and exceeded. I was not looking for a friend... I was looking for an exceptionally talented surgeon who does a great job and that is exactly what I got! My follow up care was excellent and I would highly recommend this doctor. Any questions or concerns I had before and after surgery were addressed. I will definately consider this doctor for any future plastic surgery needs!

Dr. Schingo is easily the best doctor I have ever had (and I have a had a lot of doctors). I was seeing another plastic surgeon initially for my breast reconstruction after mastectomy and was skeptical about the result I was going to have based on what I was seeing in the mirror. The breast mound was way up high near my shoulder. I went to Dr. Schingo for a second opinion and he confirmed my suspicions that I was not going to get the results I wanted without the latissimus flap procedure (where they graft skin from your back to your breast). He confirmed that in order to get a good result, the breast mound needs to be further down, not up by the shoulder area. My previous plastic surgeon had told me not to worry, that gravity would take care of things. Just how long it would take was what worried me. I didn't want a "bozo boob." More than anything, I wanted a good result. Dr. Schingo cares about getting the good result for women. He's gentle and kind, highly professional, and it… certainly doesn't hurt that he's so nice looking. I trust Dr. Schingo implicitly and give him my highest recommendations.

At first I was hesitant about getting Botox and Fillers but Dr. Schingo explained everything to me which made the procedure go that much better. The Botox gave me just enough lift so that I looked well rested and the filler helped soften the nasolabial folds. Overall it was a nice experience. Next year I hope to get a breast augmentation. I heard he does great with noses too!!!!
