Dr. Victor Anthony Shada, DO

Receptionist so rude to me using sarcasm that I decided to change doctors. If I’m paying money for a doctor not going to get treated like crap. Dr. Shada himself is fine but they rate F in office staff.

On Tuesday I woke up dizzy and weak. My temperature was 100-101 range after multiple checks. On the last check I was so dizzy I had to lay down on the floor for a half hour. Got up and did a test for Covid – positive. Called Dr. Shada’s office in the afternoon. Receptionist ask what my problem was and I told her I home tested positive for Covid. She put me on hold for approx. 11 minutes then came back and asked my who I was waiting for. Told her again about the positive test and she said they would call in a prescription. I asked if I should come in and was told that the home test was accurate enough. Here’s the issue: Nobody ever asked about how I felt, what my symptoms were, if I had a fever, if I was in any distress or if I felt I should see the doctor. I never even spoke to a healthcare professional, only the telephone receptionist. I’ve been going to Dr. Shada for about 9 years with routine minor health issues but now I have no confidence that Dr. Shada’s practice would be… reliable in an real health issues so I am changing to a new practice.

Dr Shada is never too busy for his patients. He asks questions until he gets enough information to know what is wrong or which tests he needs to order. He takes time to answer all your questions and make sure you understand what he feels is going on. He’s been our family physician since he first started his practice in Crossville. We have a lot of confidence in Dr Shada and capabilities!

Have been seeing him for 7 years and am very happy with him and his staff.

I really like Dr. Shada....Listens and talks to you....Lab guy is awesome...really puts you at ease. Most of the staff is great.....Altho the receptionist is not friendly at all...seems like you are more of a bother to her......Thought it was just us but found others have gotten the bad treatment from her also. Tammy is her name and we were told by another patient that she is a relative and that is why she is still there. Other than her we love Dr. Shada...whenever we call to make an appt we hold our breath in the hopes that someone else will answer the phone

I have been going to Dr Shada for over 10 years. He is an outstanding doctor. He is ALWAYS willing to sit and talk to you about what is going on with your health. I suggest to anyone who needs an outstanding, caring doctor to see him. He always puts his patients first. His staff is amazing as well. At first I (personal opinion) was afraid of his lab guy, only because he isn't someone who I expect to work at a doctor office. But I am terrified of needles and wouldn't want anyone else doing it but him. Overall I would recommend Dr Shada and his staff to anyone new to the Crossville area.

The best doctor in Crossville that i have encountered. Asks questions and cares about your response. Always concerned. Talks TO you not AT you. His staff is always helpful and smiling. I am always at ease there. If he doesnt know something he certainly sends you to someone in that field of specialty. Never runs inappropriate tests and always explains WHY a certain test may be needed. Doesnt just give you meds and push you out the door. Medications are monitored. Excellent doctor. Excellent staff from the nurse, receptionist, even to the billing. Highly recommend.

by far the best Doctor I've ever met and spent time with. from the moment you walk in the door until you walk out the door, you're family. they all listen to you and talk to you. never in a hurry to shuffle out the door.. you're not just a number with them. you're a human being, a friend. i tip my hat to them all...
