Dr. Victoria Villaflor, MD

She is notoriously late, last visit was 2.5 hours late. Hugs inappropriately. Does not lead with good news, instead decided to hug causing me to believe bad news was to follow. After asking for test test results, she discloses they are good, but decides to bury that lead anyway. Went on to quote outdated blood test results and erroneously informed me of bad prognosis of my cancer because of gene mutation. I had to inform her that my tumor does not have that particular mutation. All around disaster visit, despite my very good news.

Terrible.. Told me I had stage IV lung cancer and was starting me on chemotherapy. I just had an infection and no treatment was needed. This is insane.

Dr. Villaflor, was my husbands Oncologist , when we were able to have actual visit with her she was very informative but unfortunately always late ,and always in a hurry, I totally understand that this is the insurance faults , as we had to see her colleague, a lot of the time, her expertise & knowledge, were GREAT...... unfortunately my husband did not win the battle . I was greatly, appreciative that she came to see my husband during his last stay in ICU.

You do not want this person caring for you/your loved ones in the scariest/most vulnerable time of your life. She lacks empathy and communication skills. She behaves like a vindictive teen.

If you want to live longer , go to a different doctor .

Dr Villaflor is the Best oncologist I've met.
