Dr. Vijay K Anand, MD

After suffering for many years with sinus problems I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Vijay Anand in New York City. Dr. Anand was able to diagnose my condition when others could not. He suspected that I have an immune deficiency and referred me to someone who works with immunotherapy. Dr. Anand has performed several needed surgeries and has helped me to improve my breathing. He is always concerned about his patients and is willing to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. His staff has always been very helpful and will try to fit me in if I have a problem that needs addressing. I have been a patient for over 20 years and highly recommend Dr. Anand.

Several years ago, after suffering for many years with a terrible sinus condition, I was extremely fortunate to be referred to Doctor Anand by my long time primary care physician, himself a outstanding and very highly regarded doctor in Manhattan. Doctor Anand performed surgery on my sinuses. When I awoke, Dr Anand told me that my quality of life would be greatly improved. He was absolutely right. In the intervening years he has treated me on various and my wife who was afflicted with a very serious medical condition. He is exceptional, effective and highly professional. We are extremely grateful to him.

I got empty nose syndrome after surgery with him. He lured me into unnecessary surgery which involved ethmoidoctomy, uncinate process removal, sinus ostium enlargement, etc. Screenshot of report is attached. Avoid him at all costs. He clearly does not understand that structures in nose are made for something and one can go into devastating condition if moisture and resistance is removed. Also he is dumb in term of treatment advanced sinus infections. He is prescribing antibiotic sprays that will never heal the condition.

Dr Anand is simply the best in the business, a true gentleman, I had a large pituitary tumor removed and after five weeks my nose is amazing.

Dr Anand and his staff are amazing . He, along with Dr Schwartz, saved my son's life. I would recommend both physicians to anyone. They were extremely accommodating and professional.

I have not seen him in a while, but i came in with quite a problem. He is very kind and a great doctor. Just saying hi and would recommend him.

Dr. Anand consistently offers professional, experienced, knowledgeable, intelligent, caring, kind and thoughtful care. He is a rare kind of doctor and he also has a sense of humour. I think my family is absolutely unbelievably lucky to have found him. He's wonderful.

Dr Anand is a lifesaver...the best in the business...professional and caring...plus, he is the leader in so many of the procedures used by ENT'S...in fact, he invented may of them...
