In hindsight, it's not surprising that FOUR office, nursing, and lab personnel made a point of confiding on my first visit, "Oh, Dr. Kasturi is so good!" (This happened at UMass's hema/onco center in Worcester, not the office in Leominster.) The obvious respect from his coworkers is well-deserved; Dr. Kasturi is a very knowledgeable, exceptionally personable doctor, and the modest waiting time was well worth my visit. He spent plenty of time with me, answering all of my questions and posing many of his own. His bedside manner is that of an educated, caring ally -- never the lofty, know-it-all doctor dictating to the umpteenth know-nothing patient-of-the-day. I wouldn't hesitate to put myself or a loved one in his care...and that's really the best recommendation, isn't it?
