My son was diagnosed with extensive metastatic thyroid cancer as an eleven year old in 1997.. Dr. Varma has overseen his treatments and follow up care for almost 16 years. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. My son, my husband, and I trust no other physician like we trust Dr. Varma. We continue to consult him even though we have moved out of the mid-Atlantic area.

After surgery, he handled my endocrinology and nuclear medicine scan. A year and half after initial scan, he's still doing my endocrinology and I'm feeling great. My husband likes him too. Lynn his assistant is fabulous. I've been very pleased with Dr. Varma and would highly recommend him.
