Dr. Vijayalakshmi Mamedi, MD

I've been a patient for many years and for the most part my visits have gone well. I'm disappointed that during some visits Dr. Mamedi is standoffish. You can't really check someone's throat from three feet away. And when I had some skin and feet issues she didn't seem to want to touch the area to check it thoroughly. That's what the gloves are for! The most recent disappointment was that my bloodwork results weren't sent to my nephrologist. If I hadn't gone into my Patient Portal and printed them myself, he would not have gotten a copy.

Doesn’t respond to questions. Appears to dislike interacting with patient.

She is very professional. I've been her patient for many years. She is very Friendly and Caring. She listens to me and the wait time is quick. She shows compassion for her patients. I recommend her to anyone that needs a Dr. as nice and caring as she is. She is 1 of the Best Drs. of the Roanoke Rapids Area.
