My father had emergency spinal surgery in July 2025 — he is 82 years old — and my family and I were understandably frightened. From the very beginning, Dr. Mehta took the time to explain everything in detail to both my father and me so we could make a truly informed decision. He waited on multiple occasions for my siblings, who were out of town, to join via FaceTime and be a part of the planning process. What stood out most was his honesty. He was upfront that the surgery would not fix everything, but that it could stop what was currently progressing and explained what that might look like down the road. Making the decision to undergo surgery for an 82-year-old diabetic was incredibly stressful, but his transparency and compassion helped us understand how significant it could be — even if it wouldn’t change everything. Through it all, he was kind, warm, loving, and informative, and he made us feel like members of his own family. His care did not stop after the surgery. At every… appointment since, Dr. Mehta has continued to be kind, funny, warm, and informative. His office staff is a true reflection of his leadership. There were instances where my husband and I needed to provide documentation to our employers to care for my father, and his staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. From the front desk to the exam room, every interaction has been handled with grace and professionalism. Nearly a year post-op, we are overjoyed to share that Dad’s X-rays are showing everything is in place. He is walking and moving better than ever, back to golfing occasionally, and keeping up with my rambunctious 4-year-old daughter. Dr. Mehta says he wishes all of his patients were like my dad — but we wish that every patient could have a doctor just like him. We thank God for Dr. Mehta. God could have sent us anyone, but He sent us one of His earthly angels.

I am three months post-op from my ACDF and doing exceptionally well. The numbness in my arms is gone, my neck pain has decreased significantly, and I can finally sleep through the night. My quality of life has improved tremendously, and I feel truly grateful with the results of my surgery. I am especially thankful to Dr. Mehta for making this possible. Throughout the process, Dr. Mehta showed exceptional professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness. His calm, reassuring presence made me feel safe, and he clearly answered all my questions. The nursing team was equally outstanding - responding quickly, offering guidance, and treating me with genuine kindness. I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Mehta for providing such successful treatment. He truly changed my life, and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome.

Dr. Mehta and his team saved my life! My spinal cord was compressed in my neck, C2-7C. I was losing mobility everyday. Dr. Mehta explained the surgery that was needed..literally saved my life as I knew it. In 4 months, my neck brace is off. I have my balance back at 80% , my coordination is improving everyday. When I first met with Dr Mehta to discuss my surgery, I was a little scared. But when we talked about how the procedure was going to go and I will be in great hands, I felt very confident he was going to do a great job, which he did. His care team was great also

Dr Mehta was wonderful I had cervical hernia surgery and it went well. His team took care of me and assured me I would be fine. My recovery was great I was moving around the same day of surgery. My experience with him and his team was great and I would refer him to anyone

Dr Mehta was an amazing and refreshing change. He took the time to explain everything, answered my many questions, even after I left and had more questions! He called to check on me and see how I was doing- BEFORE I even had the surgery. He made me very comfortable going into the surgery. After the surgery, he still checked in on me to see how I was feeling. He is absolutely a surgeon that I would highly recommend!!

I was having pain in my neck, upper back, and left arm. I couldn't touch my neck or upper back without experiencing burning pain. Along with the pain in my arm, I was having numbing and tingling. I had a consultation with Dr. Mehta and he explained to me that I had to have surgery. This was a shock to me and I was hesitant at first especially when he advised that the recovery process is 3 months and I will not be able to lift or drive. I am the major care provide for my wheelchair bound special needs child and couldn't imagine not being able to lift him or drive him to school and appointments. Dr. Mehta was very direct in explaining to me my issue and that it is degenerative, so symptoms will only get worse. I decided for the long term care of my son that I should do the surgery. Dr. Mehta was very thorough in explaining the risks involved with the surgery. Due to personal reasons, I really needed the surgery done before July 2023. Even though, Dr. Mehta had a planned… vacation with his family, he fit me in the day he was leaving for his vacation. His team was very helpful and considerate of my discomfort after surgery. My post op instructions were explained to me very clearly. I was able to have the surgery on June 7, 2023. I am still in recovery mode but am happy to say that I have not had any numbness or tingling in my arm. No pain in my neck or upper back. I can even massage my back and neck without pain. I am so thankful to Dr. Mehta for being so direct with me and explaining the importance of the surgery. I look forward to being able to care for my son very soon and for a long time to come.

I had cervical spinal surgery to correct a spinal cord signal abnormality with foraminal narrowing and bone spurs. I was cautioned that if I had a other fall or was in an auto accident, I would end up a quadriplegic. Dr. Mehta and his exceptional team performed surgery on me. They were so caring, comforting and supportive. I have been an R.N. for 52 years and they made me proud to be part of the medical profession. I had so little time to psychologically prepare myself for the surgery and recovery. They were amazing in every way making it stress-free and smooth.

Outstanding surgeon and team at Kaiser Fontana. I had sever stenosis in my lumbar L3, L4, L5, my pain was inhumane. Dr. Mehta operated on me in March of 2023 and the pain in my lumbar is gone!!!! Dr. Mehta and his Team were perfect and made me feel so comfortable. The nurses at Kaiser Fontana are outstanding as well!! Thanks to you all for taking my pain away!!
